What Circus?!?

Didn't go to the circus.. got busy.. had dinner though..
but not with a special someone.. Cheered up a person
though.. So all in all, not a bad night jugak la.

Today... today just got call from Lo, the Shell sys admin.
Didn't get screwed, but did have heavy questions put
forward.. Even more nervous, since my senpai's not here.

Must work towards making that system running well..
Gambatte! Wish I could get that cup of coffee..

Gawd.. Freakish Nightmare..

Well.. actually.. it's not a nightmare pun.. In fact it really happened.

But it's not exactly nightmare status situation. Smalam kena stay
in the server room til midnight... trying to heal an ailing file server
back to health.. file server lama plak tu.. tapi dia tak baik2 gak..
caused some huge headaches on my noggin. On top of that.. the
clients system administrator was there.. I swear.. the nicest, most
hardworking bloke in all of Shell. Rasa macam bersalah plak, sebab
tak dapat repair gak the problem. It's been dragging on for weeks..

Konon kena replace part la... Haa... skarang dah replace part.. still
degrading... Apa nak buat? Aaarrgghh... Downtime window dah abis..
kena up kan balik.. tapi satu volume rosak... pedih hati balik smalam.
tapi dah penat.. undressed.. and gedebuk terus atas katil.. macam
coma... sib baik bangun... ujan...

Hari ni kena trace balik chain of events, pin point balik, where the
f**king hole is the cause of the problem. I gave the sys admin my best
solution, long term, but it requires destroying an old volume. Gave the
same suggestion to my senpai.. tengok if it'll take or not. But i'm not
willing to go with it, if there's a safer solution.

Okay.. back to work...

Circus is in town.

Royal London Circus is in Miri. Planning to go with the lot. Who's in
the lot? a bunch of people. A mixed bag of nuts in fact. But they're
not nuts. They're a bunch of nice and happy people. It should be
a wierd experience. I have a secret... I don't like clowns.. I'm only
there for the acrobatic acts and the girls in tights..

Last time I went to a circus was late in the 80's. I think I was about
6 or 7 back then.. The only thing I can remember from the experience
was the Royal London Circus fan I got. Oh yeah.. and the cotton
candy. I think that's the first time I had cotton candy. I don't think
I remembered anything that happened under the big top. What I do
know is... I hate clowns... heh..

On a seperate note, I went to Brunei yesterday. There was a Malaysian
Nature Society field trip to one of the jungles there, on Selirong Island,
but I had to join them only on Sunday. Saturday, originally, I planned on
going to Lambir with my housemate, awek dia and Zit. Tapi my foot
gave problems early that morning, plus we all woke up late. So, cancel
la. Just went around Miri. I had to hobble around, of course. Luckily,
the pain was bareable on Sunday. So I could do the 2km hike.

Might even hazard a rugby practice today.. Warm up dulu la.. see how.
So... what's interesting today... nothing much.. I watched a japanese TV
series on vcd, called Shotgun Marriage. Sungguh kawaii... Kinda
gave me the urge to try again and be a couple. But then, reality sets in
and I remember.... I'm still heart broken.. neeed to repair myself...

Anyways... Watch the bloody story.. It's damn good..

By the way, if anyone knows a cute, sweet, single japanese girl, please
introduce, yeah? :)
