Rebounds...

Rebounds are bad.. They're like candy coated poison. They only give
you relief for a short time, before the inner core gets to you.
I want to babble on about the cruelty of rebounds, but I don't have time.
When you were with someone for a long period of time, and then you
break up... rebounds are bound to happen <--(pun). But What I'm afraid
is, what if you're still hung up on the person? For a very, very long time.

It's been about 2 years since I've broken up with my ex. In between that
time, I've gone out with 3 girls for not more than 3 months each. And,
with each girl, I only started dating after 3+ months of being single.
If you think about it. I should've been out of the rebound stage a long
time ago. I guess I'm not. Still not I presume. The length of time it takes
to be over a person is as long as it takes to clear your head of any
emotions for that person. And sometimes, it takes a very long time.

Words of slight wisdom: Don't put any loved one on a pedestal if you
are not sure if you'll love them forever. Pedestals are hard things to take
down.

Time moves fast when you actually have stuff to do.
Tu yang best tu balik KL. It's so alive. Well..
relatively more alive than Miri... But Miri's lovely in
it's composition of people and places... the people
mainly.

So.. I'm done with the first training course. It's really
cool. It's an administration course for a storage
technology from Network Appliance.
Giler gempak benda ni... It's on the
fly volume management.. Something that is... wow..
(My limited imagination and vocabulary can't really
describe the wholesome goodness this thing is.)

Sambil2 tu ada la sini sana kena buat in the office.
Met with my project coordinator liaison, nama Wee
Leng. She'll be working with me side by side for two
weeks in Brunei. Nice, cute gal. Lemah lembut nyer
type. Hopefully it'll be a great working colaboration.
And I mean this in a totally professional way, eh.

So, it's a Sunday. I'm waiting for lunch to come.
Nanti nak pegi KLCC and buy stuff. Spent time with
Yati and Mamat yesterday. Lama gilos tak jumpa
Mamat. Eversince he moved to Kerteh. And also..
we met up with Shazwan and Yan.. Heheh.. diorang
couple... Shaz ada couple... at last!.. gilo lamer..
sian gak mamat tu.. dulu kat CMU, takde rezeki..
Anyways, we just had dinner at Pizza Uno (stone
oven baked pizza, luverly!!). And went our separate
ways.

I think I like this arrangement better. I only go out
with people when they call me. Not me calling them.
Reza called me up also Friday night. Woke me up
at midnight.. tanya.. you wanna go to Hard Rock?
Dah Hard Rock tu blakang hotel kiter... kata okay jer.
so, we went there, met some of his friends... enjoyed
the clubbing scene. Then pegi Bliss plak kat 12SI.
all in all, not a bad night la.. Sempat makan steam
boat tepi jalan.. hehe.. With Reza you expect the
unexpected.. Mr. Spontaneous.

Anyways... Bie's upset with me for saying what I said.
Yes.. It's very hurtful. I'm scum for saying that. But..
Like I said before. I give as much friendship to people
that gives me the same. Tu pasal I don't expect much
from most of my friends. Tolak some who I know would
drop everything for me. And I mean EVERYTHING.
I mean.. for them.. I also drop EVERYTHING.

But it's our differences in priorites and lifestyle that
affects this. I'm a selfish person who has a lot of time
on his hands because he's got the easiest job in the
world. (I'm saying this sarcastically, btw) Sebab tu
banyak masa. Always want to spend time with friends.
I don't want to insult anyone. They're not at fault.

Tapi dah beberapa kali kita balik, and I must say,
Instead of a welcoming invite, like,"weh, jom la
pegi lepak mamak bila nkau balik," or an uplifting
excuse like,"I'm stuck with my cousins wedding, but
maybe we can try and have lunch somewhere." What
I always get is,"I'm going to be busy la. Not sure
when I'm free." Okay la.. since ppl are always busy.
I guess tak per la.. Jangan kacau... Jangan call.

Tapi don't blame me if I do the same to you. Whoever
you are. And trust me, it won't hurt me if you tell me
I'm scum. I'm already hurt. Aku kena scummed dulu.
